To live a life in the Rocky Mountains had always been Mac's dream. He loved his ranch on Fall River and was a success by anyone's measure, except his own. Two lonely widows take a chance at internet dating. Annie is an event planner at a luxury hotel. Mac a Rancher. The story tease gives the impression of a city girl meets cowboy steamy love story, it's not. On their first in person date Annie goes from smart to to stupid to live and Mac goes from charming nice guy to charming but manipulative control freak. Annie seems to default to stupid whenever she is around Mac. I did find it humorous that Mac was using BDSM romance novels for reference in romancing Annie, I found him to be unsettling. He needs therapy and she needs a keeper. The story ends with a cliffhanger, which I hate. I picked this book up for free , book 2 is $4.99. While I liked the story it didn't suck me in enough to spend five bucks on the next book.Product details

I loved this book. What a good story line, great sex. Makes it hard to put down. Mac and Annie are such a good match. Loved it and can't wait for the next book.
Reading about Annie and Mac was an enjoyable journey. I definitely want to read the next book in the series. Mac's discipline was done with love and his loving was hot, hot, hot. Great story.
A good read. I have to say the first date would have scared me because he came on so strong and I'd have run for the hills. Maybe thats just me though. The sex scenes were unique and totally hot and the spankings weren't at all harsh. Morganna Williams
This book has potential but #1 it's a cliffhanger, which I do not like and #2 some of the dialog is childish and #3 this back and forth trust-fear thing Annie has toward Mac is hard to accept especially in the beginning and after her paddling out to the yacht scene.
I simply couldn't put this book down once I started reading it. It was both steamy and romantic. I could totally relate to Annie, I enjoy reading about domestic discipline but I don't want to receive it! LOL!
Not enough story. To much about how he decorates this or that.how he redecorates his bedroom. What he owns etc. Not enough story, too much fluff about phone calls ,etc.makes the book very boring in a lot of places found myself skimming to find a better part
I loved this book! The characters are strong, the plot is great, and it's got a heartwarming steamy romance! Mac is pure alpha male and Annie is a firecracker. I laughed out loud and actually had tears in my eyes once too. Now that I read Chapter one of the next book I can't wait for it's release!
